Shadows: (noun) The most dangerous thing ever to exist in the world. It dwells in darkness, feeding off those who have hatred in their souls. They hunt even those who are pure in soul. They devour all wills to live and devour everything positive. It's impossible to escape them. Once you've been caught, there's no escape until you've become a Shadow as well.
Not all of the Shadows are evil and devour. There are a few who dwell in the darkness but follow the light, trying without success to become part of it. These Shadows are special. While the regular Shadows hardly have feeling, these Shadows have moments of time when they feel emotion and pain. But only rarely. Only some Shadows are meant to be feared.
