Me: So I have an issue with 3rd person POV so I'm going to switch off between Neku's and Shiki's POVs every chapter.
Neku: So what? Is this my chapter?
Me: Yes.
Neku: *sigh* Fucking hate this...
Me: Is someone on their perioddddddd? ^3^
Beat: LET'S JUST GET ON WITH THE STORY YO!
Me: Okay okay... Don't get your boxers in a bunch.....
NEKU POV
I picked up the stuffed piggy and found Rhyme. I glanced at Rhyme and she smiled at me, motioning for me to sit beside her.
"Rhyme, your brother Beat told me you were meeting Shiki here."
She nodded and stared off to who knows where. I sighed and placed Mr. Piggy in the plastic bag that held Shiki's necklace. "Did you see her?" I asked quietly.
She said nothing and just shook her head. I eyed her curiously. "Why can't you talk?"
Rhyme bit her lip and said "Sorry Neku, I have to go..." And with that, she got up and left.
"Uh, wait Rhyme!" She ignored my call and kept walking away.
Jeez... What's with girls today? I got up as well, turned up my music, and walked to Wild Cat.
Once I'd arrived, I spotted Beat serving coffee to a customer. When Beat saw me, he quickly bid the customer goodbye and walked towards me.
"Yo! Neku what happened? Where's Shiki?" Beat asked, sitting down in front of me.
Beat had taken the opportunity to ask Mr. H for a job at Wild Cat. Just to earn some cash.
"Nah... We.. Uh... Change of plans.." I said, scratching my head.
Beat paused for a minute and eyed me. Then he started to laugh. "Ahaha, don't tell me, she didn't meet up with you!"
When I didn't answer, he laughed harder. Beat then fell backwards off his chair since he kept laughing. My face got a deeper shade of red every minute that passed by filled with his laughter, until Mr. H arrived. At that moment I collected myself.
"What's with all the laughing?" He asked, pointing at Beat to prove his point.
Beat tried to get up, but his attempts were futile, since every time he looks at me, another wave of laughter escapes his lips.
"G-got haahaha, ditched," He said as he gasped for air. "BY SHIKI!"
Mr. H heard this and frowned. Thank you! Someone who doesn't make fun of me!
"What happened Neku? This normally doesn't happen, especially to Shiki." He said, his voice filled with concern as he sat down beside me.
I shrugged and crossed my arms. "All that I found was her stuffed piggy and Rhyme."
Beat stopped laughing and glared at me. "What do you mean?"
I sighed. "What I meant was, Shiki was obviously there, but Rhyme won't tell me anything."
"Interesting..." Mr. H said as he wiped his glasses.
I know! It's interesting to me too! Why would Shiki just leave piggy there? Does she hate me? I looked down at the pit, as I her - Not Eri's face. "I never got to see what she really looks like." I said quietly.
I got up and nodded to Mr. H and Beat. "Gotta go.. I have to catch up in school. Later." I said. Then I left Wild Cat and headed home.
Me: So that was Chapter 2, Part 1. Hope you all enjoyed.
Neku: *sigh*

*Me and Neku hug, feeling each others pain*
